Yoreflix Events

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Double J x Yoreflix will be a festival featuring and screening 5 winning short period piece films, with industry professionals, agents and investors attending the event in a Central London Venue.

AWARDS AND PRIZES

The TOP 20 ENTRIES will get an invite to the Double J X Yoreflix event on the 20th February 2025, in Central London. There will be many industry professionals in attendance, as well as agents and investors.

THE TOP 5 ENTRIES will have their short films screened at the Double J X Yoreflix event.

THE TOP 2 ENTRIES will be put onto Yoreflix when the platform launches next year.

RULES AND TERMS

Please only submit short films that are set or based in a non-contemporary time period. As a general rule, we will look at submissions based any time before or including the 1990s.

Short films should be between 2 and 45 minutes long, and no longer.

Films should be deliverable via YouTube or Vimeo Password Protected Link. Please ensure you also have a transferrable HD file, in event of your project being selected for screening.

Short films have to be original content with all rights, including IP rights, owned by the person/company submitting the project.

The short film should not have any rights already with distributors/sales agents or other platforms that could conflict with non-exclusive SVOD rights being licensed to Yoreflix.

The cost of submission is £35 per project. Please do not try and put multiple links into the link field as it will corrupt any data in the field entirely and your submission will not be counted.
